About Makson

Our story and milestones

Makson began in 1977. Fifty years on, the business is still family-owned and still focused on one thing: converting paper and board precisely.

How Makson began

Makson was founded in 1977 by the Makson family in Lahore. The company started by converting and trading specialty paper and paperboard for local packaging needs.

Over the following decades Makson invested in advanced multi-colour rotogravure printing, precision converting lines and automated slitting machinery, moving to its present 35,000+ sq ft purpose-built facility at Sundar Industrial Estate, Lahore, in 2008.
