MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES

Slitting and rewinding to your reel specification

Wide webs slit into finished reels at the exact width, diameter and winding your machines need.

How slitting and rewinding works at Makson

Slitting cuts the converted web into narrower reels. Rewinding builds each reel to the specified length, diameter and tension. Together they decide whether a reel runs cleanly on the customer’s line.

Makson slits and rewinds to each customer’s reel specification, covering width, core size, winding direction and splice limits.
